The role of Field Service Technician is to provide onsite, and remote, service and support to Maxcess customers while working collaboratively with all internal teams. This position involves daily communications with customers, sales, engineering, and manufacturing, as well as providing onsite and remote support for service and support matters. The technician will initiate tests and troubleshooting to diagnose electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment, and complete repairs, replacements, and upgrades of existing equipment. They will also be responsible for the installation and testing of new equipment, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring necessary parts are available for service visits. Additionally, the role includes training customers, manufacturing, and sales employees on new products and processes, performing application reviews, assisting with ROI calculations, and providing detailed written reports and sales recommendations. The Field Service Technician will manage their own schedule, collaborate with manufacturing and engineering for coverage, and adhere to waste management and energy conservation practices. Safety compliance with all relevant regulations is also a key responsibility.
