About The Position

Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated technician with a strong desire to learn about our products. Someone who loves taking care of customers and working with their hands. If you are mechanically-minded and enjoy troubleshooting and problem-solving, this is the position for you! It’s a physical job - you may be on your feet for 90% to 95% of your workday. You should be able to safely lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. A commitment to safety in oil and natural gas and refinery environments is required.

Requirements

  • Comfortable in a manufacturing setting and with the physical requirements of the position
  • Must have strong technical aptitude, good problem-solving abilities, and the ability to learn and understand product mechanics, electrical wiring, and some electronics
  • Ability to read and understand machine drawings and manufacturing instructions
  • This position requires some travel and compliance to customer site requirements including a clean driving record, routine drug testing and physicals, and occasional wearing of breathing equipment and other protective equipment that may require minimal facial hair or other accommodations
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug screen, physical, and background check

Responsibilities

  • Respond to service-related inquiries (return materials, service requests, R&D requests, commissioning orders, etc.), including determining the activities necessary to resolve any issues and completing any necessary paperwork to ensure compliance
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers on service needs, recommended maintenance, and other service-related questions
  • Interpret machine drawings, routings, and bills of material to understand and meet design specifications
  • Troubleshoot problems with equipment and make repairs or retrofits in a timely manner
