About The Position

MasterTech is on the search for Industrial Technicians with Gallus-specific experience on label and packaging production equipment based out of Chicago IL, requiring extensive travel to customer locations. Field Service Techs will be responsible for the on-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components and systems, ensuring the machinery is properly installed and operational. Detail-oriented Field Service Techs are responsible for the on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery along with reporting issues and completing documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or any kind of mechanical maintenance is preferred.
• Previous Corrugated experience in Prepres and/or PostPress machinery
• Experience with electrical systems is a definite asset; AC & DC as well as three-phase wiring.
• Basic to advanced level experience servicing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Previous experience using oscilloscopes, drills, taps, etc.
• Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation.

Nice To Haves

• Gallus-specific experience on label and packaging production equipment
• Soldering experience a plus.
