About The Position
Field Service Technician This position requires 75% percent travel and our Service Technicians trek the globe! You will be expected to stay out on the road and away from home for three weeks at a time (During your week off you will be paid for a full 40 hour work week). This travel may include domestic and international travel. All techs are expected to live within one hour’s travel from a major airport. Successful candidates must possess most of the required skills listed below:
Requirements
- Strong Electrical (Industrial, A/C &D/C drives, PLC knowledge, Siemens Step7 a plus!)
- Mechanical abilities
- Open to 75% travel!
- Willing to travel internationally!
- Must have clear and active driver’s licenses
- Must be able to obtain a passport!
- Basic computer skills required
- Communication skills
- Ability to read electrical & hydraulic schematics
- Electrical & hydraulic experience – 3 to 5 years
- Troubleshooting skills
- Siemens knowledge a plus!
