About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking an innovative problem solver with a passion for mechanics and refrigeration to join their team as a Field Service Technician. This role involves keeping equipment in top shape through cleaning, replacing components, and installing various machines for customers. The technician will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, perform sanitation services, and ensure all equipment runs smoothly. The position requires a hands-on approach, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements

  • Ability to perform and apply algebra
  • Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
  • Must meet company driver qualifications
  • Willingness to obtain EPA or Contractors License if required

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and washing parts & equipment
  • Replacing components such as switches, pumps, compressors, motors, wiring, and light plumbing
  • Installing fountain, vending, coolers, & coffee machines
  • Ensuring equipment runs smoothly for customers
  • Loading, unloading, transporting, and installing vendors, coolers, and other appliances at customer locations
  • Disassembling and reassembling appliances and replacing and repairing mechanical and electrical parts
  • Performing required sanitation service on appliances
  • Utilizing tools and diagnostic equipment (wattmeter, refrigeration equipment, ammeter, voltmeter) to diagnose appliances and detect malfunctions
  • Calibrating control devices such as timers and thermostats and adjusting contact points
  • Replacing worn or defective parts
  • Repairing and adjusting appliance motors
  • Reassembling, adjusting, and lubricating moving parts of appliances
  • Responding to customer call-in needs on an on-call basis during non-business hours
  • Completing work orders for parts and labor tracking
  • Completing vehicle, service call logs, and other associated forms
  • Keeping assigned service vehicle clean and performing pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance
  • Cleaning shop work area
  • Wearing company-provided uniform and safety equipment
