This role serves as an electronic technician in the Field Service Support function, responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and calibration of all equipment, instruments, and analytical systems within the emission inspection program. The technician will maintain a territory of approximately 100-200 customers, troubleshooting equipment, analyzing documents to determine causes of malfunctions, and performing maintenance and calibration of instruments. This includes preventative maintenance and calibrating major and gas instruments to specified tolerances. The position also involves completing necessary paperwork and reports, maintaining accurate inventory, training customers on equipment operation and maintenance, and performing preventive maintenance on a company vehicle. Significant travel is required.
