Field Service Technician
About The Position
MasterTech is seeking an Industrial Electrician with Corrugated and/or Sheetfed specific experience on label and packaging production equipment. This role is based out of Massachusetts and requires extensive travel to customer locations. Field Service Technicians will be responsible for the on-site installation and support of mechanical and electrical components and systems, ensuring the machinery is properly installed and operational. Detail-oriented Field Service Technicians are responsible for the on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of machinery along with reporting issues and completing documentation.
Requirements
- Experience with electrical systems; AC & DC as well as three-phase wiring.
- Basic to advanced level experience servicing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication.
- Previous experience using oscilloscopes, drills, taps, etc.
- Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or any kind of mechanical maintenance is preferred.
- Previous Corrugated experience in Prepress and/or PostPress machinery
- Soldering experience a plus.
