About The Position

Daniels Health is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their team, supporting hospitals with critical medical waste services. This role involves hands-on work, including container exchanges, inspections, servicing, lifting, and maintaining inventory. The technician will represent Daniels Health with professionalism and a strong work ethic, utilizing a company-provided smartphone for task management and communication. The position requires travel between two hospital locations: Glenbrook Hospital (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and Condell Medical Center (Tuesday, Thursday).

Requirements

  • Physically fit, comfortable with heavy lifting, and enjoys active, on-the-go work.
  • Personal transportation to both work sites.
  • Team player who can also work independently without direct supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to paperwork and procedures.
  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel between assigned locations.
  • A can-do attitude.
  • Previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role.

Responsibilities

  • Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation.
  • Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients.
  • Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day.
  • Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized.
  • Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team.
  • Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service.
  • Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic.
