Requirements

  • Experience in field service, maintenance, or installation of industrial equipment
  • Comfortable with physical work and compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
  • Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electromechanics, or equivalent
  • Strong industrial mechanical/electromechanical knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documents
  • Structured troubleshooting and problem-solving approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and field urgencies
  • Strong focus on safety and execution rigor
  • Results-oriented with fast problem resolution
  • Autonomous and accountable on site
  • Strong customer interaction skills
  • Adaptable to changing environments and frequent travel
  • Frequent travel required, including weekends as needed
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Valid passport required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment is an asset
  • Technical training in industrial maintenance is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission equipment at customer sites
  • Perform adjustments and functional validation
  • Confirm full operational readiness before handover
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic issues
  • Perform on-site repairs and adjustments
  • Identify root causes and ensure durable solutions
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities
  • Identify risk of failures and recommend actions
  • Ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards
  • Explain interventions and provide recommendations
  • Train operators on equipment usage and maintenance
  • Maintain professional and structured communication
  • Complete service reports accurately and on time
  • Document recurring issues and escalate as required
  • Contribute to continuous equipment improvement
