Shuttleworth is seeking a field service technician who installs, repairs, rebuilds and maintains machines and equipment such as material handling systems and automated conveyor systems to ensure team and customer success. This is a travel-intensive position requiring approximately 85% travel throughout the United States and, occasionally, internationally. Travel may include weekday and weekend assignments, overnight stays, and extended periods at customer facilities during equipment installation, startup, troubleshooting, and service activities. Perform onsite field service activities at customer locations, including installation, startup, troubleshooting, repair, and training activities requiring approximately 85% travel. Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area. Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems. Removes and replaces worn or defective parts. Realigns and adjusts components. Start-up and debug of equipment to test operation following repair/installation. Installs and troubleshoots electrical components. Understands PLCs/ladder logic. Can make software changes on a limited basis. Provides training to customers on proper maintenance and operation of equipment.
