Field Service Technician
About The Position
MasterTech is seeking experienced Industrial Technicians with Sheetfed or Komori experience on label and printing production equipment. This role requires extensive travel to customer locations across the Eastern Seaboard, based out of Washington DC or near any major airport. Field Service Technicians will be responsible for the on-site installation, support, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of mechanical and electrical components and systems, ensuring machinery is properly installed and operational. The role also involves reporting issues and completing documentation.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, and/or any kind of mechanical maintenance is preferred.
- Previous Printing or Related packaging experience in PrePress and/or PostPress machinery.
- Experience with electrical systems (AC & DC as well as three-phase wiring) is a definite asset.
- Basic to advanced level experience servicing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent customer service skills and communication.
- Previous experience using oscilloscopes, drills, taps, etc.
- Exceptional problem solving, troubleshooting, diagnosis and documentation skills.
