Field Service Technician

About The Position

This role involves traveling to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV products. The technician will also perform field upgrades of software and hardware, communicate field failures and feedback to appropriate departments, and complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner. Billing and inventory are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • AA Degree and/or equivalent experience with 2+ years of technical experience preferred
  • Willing to travel over 75% of the time
  • Willing to work 12+ hours daily during your schedule
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware
  • Willing to be on call
  • All applicants must pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screening.

  • Electrical background preferred

Responsibilities
