About The Position

General Parts is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment across schools, healthcare facilities, and restaurants in the designated area. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC systems, as well as providing service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems. Technicians will also be responsible for ordering and installing replacement parts. The company offers ongoing training, career advancement opportunities, and provides a fully equipped service vehicle, tools, tablet, cellphone, and uniforms.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets our safety standards
• Completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
• EPA certification (for refrigeration techs)
• Strong mechanical aptitude & ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of related experience, education, or military training preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems
• Order and install replacement parts
• Participate in after-hours & weekend on-call rotations
