Field Service Technician - Travel Required
About The Position
Service technician position offered as an independent contractor. Travel is required in the North Carolina and South Carolina area. Experience in trim/molding and drywall knowledge is a must. The service technician will be responsible for the trim out of modular and double wide homes. All building materials are provided. The technician will perform electric and water tests on homes. A checklist will be provided for the contractor to follow. The technician will discuss assignments with the homeowner and Cavco. Once service work is finished, the technician will do a walk-through with the customer and a follow-up call with Cavco.
Requirements
- Must have a service box truck or enclosed trailer that can haul 16ft material.
- Must have own tools to perform service, including a generator.
- Must have a driver's license and auto insurance in your name or company name.
- Must carry a 1 million liability insurance policy with Cavco listed on the policy.
- Experience in trim/molding.
- Drywall knowledge.
Responsibilities
