About The Position

ProLift Toyota Material Handling is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to provide maintenance and repair services for forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations. The role calls for independent problem-solving, professional customer service, and representing ProLift at customer sites. ProLift provides service vehicles, diagnostic technology, training, and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience repairing industrial equipment, heavy equipment, automotive diesel, agricultural, or material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; a medical certificate or CDL may be required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds and work in outdoor conditions, including rain or snow.

Nice To Haves

• Technical school education.
• Experience with diagnostic software.
• Toyota forklift repair experience.
• ASE, EVT, or OEM certifications.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience with battery-electric and lithium-ion equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Use manufacturer diagnostic software.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
• Recommend repairs that improve customer uptime and equipment reliability.
• Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally.
