As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be the trusted technical expert working directly with contractors and equipment operators to install, support, and optimize cutting‑edge Topcon Machine Control systems. You won’t always be stuck behind a desk, your “office” is the jobsite, alongside customers who rely on your expertise to keep projects moving. Requirements

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
• Comfort troubleshooting electro‑mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems
• Customer-first mindset with strong communication skills
• Quick learner who enjoys mastering new technology
• Intermediate computer skills (software navigation, diagnostics, documentation)
• Physically capable of: Climbing onto large equipment Lifting up to 75 pounds
• Willingness to travel as needed (travel fluctuates based on business demands)
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or trade school preferred
• Field experience or prior work with: Heavy equipment Construction machinery Automotive, diesel, electrical, or mechanical systems
• Willingness and aptitude to learn heavy equipment operation and advanced technology

Nice To Haves

• Experience with machine control installations is a plus. but not required

Responsibilities

• Install and service Topcon Machine Control systems on: Dozers Motor Graders Excavators Skid Steers Compactors Pavers and Curb Machines
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, hydraulic, and electronic systems to improve machine accuracy and performance
• Research and diagnose technical issues to identify effective solutions
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sale technical support for customers and sales teams via: On-site visits Phone E-mail Remote support tools
• Represent the company professionally at customer job sites and build long-term relationships
• Work outdoors in varied conditions: rain, heat, and cold are part of the job
