About The Position

This is an opportunity to join an established, global manufacturer of premium systems driven by a quality-focused, core team culture. Operating in the Menomonee Falls area, the company has built a reputation for innovation, quality craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service. This high-visibility, hands-on role sits at the intersection of quality control and customer engagement. Rather than focusing solely on reactive field repairs, you will own the equipment lifecycle—from internal Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) on the production floor to final Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) live at client facilities. You will work closely with a sharp engineering team, using your field insights to submit Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) that directly influence future machine design. It is the ideal setup for a versatile technician who wants direct autonomy, exposure to cutting-edge automated systems, and a professional environment where technical expertise is respected and your growth is supported.

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a detail-oriented, organized mindset when working directly with global customers or presenting training.
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting and meet the physical demands associated with machinery installations, rigging adjustments, and trade show setups.

  • A rock-solid, reliable employment background showcasing long-term career commitment and technical growth with previous organizations.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot automated machinery, interpret complex assembly drawings/schematics, and perform downloads to PLCs and HMIs.
  • Hands-on competency working with high-voltage control panels, industrial motors, and low-voltage sensors.
  • Candidates must possess and provide their own comprehensive mechanical and electrical field service toolsets.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead technical representative during in-field technical assistance and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).

  • Manage final system commissioning, execute repairs, and perform expert downloads to PLCs and HMIs.
  • Work independently and safely with high-voltage control panels, motors, low-voltage sensors, and automated machinery controls.
  • Schedule and lead the internal Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) process prior to shipment, and inspect machinery exiting production to ensure quality standards.
  • Provide Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to the engineering department regarding quality infractions.
  • Lead the technical setup, mechanical alignment, and teardown of equipment for industry trade shows.
