About The Position
Simoniz USA is an industry-leading manufacturer of cleaning and protection products for auto dealerships, professional car washes and providers of professional housekeeping and building maintenance services. Washing Equipment Technologies, WET, is a division of Simoniz USA who sells, installs and services factory authorized PDQ car wash equipment installations in Central and upstate NY - Rochester, Syracuse & Buffalo.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- A minimum of 3 years’ electrical experience
- Strong verbal, interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Available to work overtime
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Complete required safety training, perform tasks in a safe manner and follow safety policies
- Wear specified personal protective equipment as needed throughout shift, which may include steel/composite toe work boots, safety glasses and/or protective gloves
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively work with a diverse team.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English in order to follow written and verbal instruction/direction
Nice To Haves
- Technical school education preferred
- Car wash installation and service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform quality installation and service work on all vehicle wash equipment and accessories, including trouble shooting of electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems to provide personalized customer service.
- Develop and maintain rapport with our customer base and partners with the customer to make beneficial recommendations regarding the technical maintenance of their state-of-the-art equipment
- Ensures all information is entered into the company computer system per training requirements
- Daily travel in the service area is required
