About The Position

The Field Service Technician's main responsibilities is to travel to customer sites to perform service activities on various types of heat exchangers, and to maintain and repair tools and equipment used in the field service department. The role also involves training and working at various Kelvion locations, performing rework functions, and potentially fabricating tools for field service needs. The position requires adherence to company procedures, safety policies, and a commitment to Kelvion's Standard of Excellence.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of manufactured Kelvion product.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Able to use computer software for field reports.
  • Adequate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math and reading skills along with the ability to use measuring equipment as needed to perform the job.
  • Must be OSHA 10 certified.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on mechanical systems.
  • Must have active Driver’s License and ability to operate company vehicles.
  • Ability to work irregular shifts and travel with as little as 24 hours’ notice.
  • Interaction with customers, third party services, or persons in any other capacity must be handled in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Be a direct representation of Kelvion Products, Inc.

Nice To Haves

  • Wiring and electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Travel and perform field service work as needed; approx. 85% of the time.
  • 15% of your time will be utilized training and working where needed at various Kelvion locations.
  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs on equipment in the field.
  • Perform rework functions at various Kelvion locations.
  • If needed, fabricate tools in the shop for field service needs.
  • Follow company procedures and safety policies.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure Kelvion’s Standard of Excellence, which includes quality, is incorporated into every product we produce.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, Operational Framework.
