Requirements

  • Previous experience in a travel-based field service and/or customer-facing roles
  • HS Diploma ; Associates/technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is a must - experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair is helpful but not required.
  • A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to rent a car and / or hotel rooms under applicable state law are required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.
  • Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
  • Work in a wide variety of municipal and industrial settings, including but not limited to drinking water & wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, food & beverage processing facilities, etc. Some applications may involve instrument servicing in NEC hazardous locations (Class I Division 2).
  • Submits prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
  • Follows safe work practices according to company policy.
  • Executes administrative activities in support of service visits.
  • Daily travel to customer sites.
