About The Position

HOLT CAT in Irving, Texas is looking for an experienced Engine Field Service Technician. This position is responsible for providing high-quality rebuilds and repairs on Industrial Engines and equipment in a field environment, in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. The hours of the position are Monday-Friday 7 AM - 4 PM. Must have a safe driving record. Must be able to do a DOT Physical. Daily travel and occasional overnight travel is required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of shop or field experience related to industrial engine repair, troubleshoot and diagnose.
• Able to use CAT ET and CAT SIS 2.0
• Steady employment history
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with customers and employees in a professional manner.
• Must have their own tools. (Up to 3/4 inch drive metric and standard)
• Take pride in maintaining the highest standards of quality.
• Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to frequently Reach, Bend, Walk, etc.
• Must be able to Lift 60lbs approximately 15 times a day.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and results-oriented.
• Excellent attendance required.
• Able to work overtime as needed to meet customer demand.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must have a safe driving history.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical.

Nice To Haves

• Diesel technology schooling preferred.
• Class A CDL is preferred.
• Crane rigger certifications preferred.
• CAT Certifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Diesel technology education preferred.
