About The Position

As a Field Service Technician at Ironclad Environmental Solutions, you will play a vital role in servicing, repairing, and delivering rental equipment to customer locations. This role involves working in the field to ensure that our containment solutions are installed and maintained to the highest standards. You will also assist with inventory control and equipment management at our facilities. In this role as a CDL Driver, you’ll move frac tanks, vacuum boxes, and tankers to and from local customer sites. While routes are mostly local, occasional overnight travel may be required based on customer needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of Class A CDL driving experience required.
  • Field service experience in equipment maintenance, repair, or inventory control required.
  • Mechanical aptitude required.
  • Tanker endorsement required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record over the last 3 years required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment with varying jobsite and weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks, including walking, bending, lifting overhead, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pump systems, rental equipment, or the pump/rental industry preferred.
  • Experience with roll-off or winch operations preferred.
  • Hazmat endorsement and TWIC preferred.
  • Forklift certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation, service, and repair of rental equipment, ensuring all units meet operational standards before and after use.
  • Deliver and/or pick up berms and other equipment from customer locations, ensuring proper setup and disassembly as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is properly serviced and repaired prior to being released for rental.
  • Assist with inventory control, including coordinating cycle counts and evaluating discrepancies.
  • Complete all necessary equipment check sheets and work orders, ensuring all parts, labor, and other expenses are accurately recorded.
  • Operate a forklift as required to move equipment and supplies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining clear communication with clients during installations and pickups.
  • Follow safety protocols at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Move frac tanks, vacuum boxes, and tankers to and from local customer sites.
  • Work directly with customers to assess property, ensure proper setup of equipment, and provide exceptional service.
  • Accurately document work performed, deliveries, pickups, and expenses.
  • Other duties as assigned.
