About The Position

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Field Service Technician - Apprentice in Twinsburg, OH. You’ll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you’ll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business

Nice To Haves

• Prior copier or office equipment experience is not required. Toshiba provides training and support to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Shadow experienced Field Service Technicians while learning to maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Assist with diagnosing equipment issues, installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with inventory, tools, test equipment, and service documentation with guidance from experienced Field Service Technicians
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures
