About The Position

This position provides quality professional technical and engineering support using knowledge of and skills in accordance with established engineering, maintenance and development practices. As the selected Supervisor, you will be expected to interface in a professional and courteous manner with DoD and other contractor personnel on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Understanding of PLC’s, Ladder logic, low-voltage control systems, and AC electrical energy systems up to 600 volts and DC electrical energy systems up to 50kV.
  • Requires extensive technical knowledge of Refrigeration theory, Power generation theory, and Radio Frequency Hardness Maintenance and Surveillance protocols.
  • 5 years or more of direct supervisory experience leading internal and external teams (in person and remotely) across multiple time zones.
  • Will supervise and work alongside a team of skilled technicians with varying levels of expertise in their field.
  • Extensive mechanical background and experience with HM/HS maintenance and repair.
  • Will oversee day-to-day shop operations, track tasks and work orders, assign staff, approve timesheets and provide guidance and counseling as needed.
  • Experience working with documents and materials in a classified work environment.
  • Ability to speak coherently on technical concepts.
  • Current EPA Refrigerant/Universal License.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Possess proven problem-solving skills and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and resources to meet changing and challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.

  • Competency in the use of electrical test equipment, refrigeration test equipment and recovery systems, brazing/welding equipment, powered tools, and hand tools are required.
  • Ability to submit material requests and P-card expense reports on a timely basis.
  • Ability to track and maintain government owned property and materials and provide expedient and accurate reporting to the government property manager.
  • Physical abilities include the use of arms, hands and fingers to operate tools and various equipment. Some standing, walking, moving, climbing, bending, crawling, reaching and handling, pushing and pulling.
  • Able to focus on items less than 20 inches away (corrected or uncorrected), see in three dimensions and distinguish all colors.

  • Minimum of 15 years commercial/industrial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for direct reports onsite and offsite.
  • Coordinates, monitors, and engages in active and upcoming workflow commitments involving HM/HS, HVAC, and Generator (PGU) repairs / upgrades / modifications / and end-user training on mobile platforms located inside and outside of the CACI facility.
  • Assists with travel coordination, planning, and resource deployment for client facing services at remote and/or offsite locations.
  • Provides direct reports with a clear expectation of professionalism to best represent the “CACI culture” while engaging in client interactions.
  • Actively engages in HM/HS Surveillance testing and maintenance across mobile platforms and fixed locations onsite and offsite of the ABQ facility.
  • Actively engages in HVAC and PGU testing and maintenance across mobile platforms and fixed locations onsite and offsite of the ABQ facility.
  • Drafts, edits, and submits formal reports for all HVAC, PGU, and HM/HS deficiencies, repairs, and test results.
  • Reports directly to the Technical Services Manager (TSM) and collaborates with the Production Control Coordinator (PCC) to facilitate active and upcoming workflow requirements involving HVAC and Generator (PGU) repairs / upgrades / modifications on mobile platforms temporarily located at the ABQ facility.
  • Provides direct supervision and technical guidance of work-related activities to Field Service technicians while onsite and offsite to reduce roadblocks and drive positive outcomes.
  • Provides technical learning opportunities to enhance Field Service technicians’ ongoing skill sets and capabilities, and to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.
  • Provides clear status updates of all HVAC, HM/HS, and PGU projects to the Production Control Coordinator and Manager on a regularly established basis.
  • Engages in system planning and development with other internal departments and provides technical expertise towards project execution and deliverables timelines.
  • Works with CACI internal Quality department to continually improve production outcomes and increase work-product quality.
  • Works with CACI logistics team to monitor and track offsite endurance spares packages (ESP) for client locations and makes recommendations for spares inventory modifications pertaining to HVAC, HM/HS, and PGU’s.
