As a Field Service Specialist - West(Denver, CO), you’ll be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring seamless startup, commissioning, and maintenance of Armstrong’s innovative products.

Requirements

Degree or designation in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Applied Engineering, or a related field, with equivalent practical experience.
Experience with Drives, control panels, BAS systems, and automation.
Proven experience with mechanical pumps and HVAC systems.
Proficiency in MS Office and strong software skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with serial communications is a plus.
Experience in commercial construction is desirable, along with a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical equipment.
Understanding of hydronic HVAC systems, Variable Frequency Drives, automation, and Building Automation Controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the startup and commissioning of Armstrong equipment, including Variable Frequency Drives and Control Panels.
Diagnose and repair issues with our diverse range of equipment, from pumps to automated valves.
Document your work through our online portal, provide on-site training to operators, and share field service insights with our After Sales team.
Build strong relationships with clients, demonstrating the value of Armstrong’s products and identify opportunities for additional sales.
Handle service requests, complaints, and startup inquiries via calls and emails. Schedule and manage service visits effectively.
Be part of a team providing after-hours support to address urgent service issues.
Conduct training sessions for service and installation teams, as well as for mechanical contractors, to enhance their knowledge of Armstrong products.
Compile and review field reports to ensure equipment performance and warranty adherence.
Assist with connecting site equipment to the Internet or customer networks.
Work closely with engineering, project management, and sales teams to support product development and project-specific initiatives.
Identify and report on product issues and contribute to process and design improvements.
