About The Position

Insightec is hiring a Field Service Specialist based in New York and New Jersey for a field role supporting medical systems. The position involves installing and implementing systems, conducting periodic maintenance and repairs, providing remote technical support, diagnosing system failures, and documenting maintenance and service activities. The role requires working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to work second and third shifts and travel approximately 80% of the time.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of field service experience with medical systems.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary capital equipment service.
• Good technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to resolve hardware electronics issues, including analog and digital, and troubleshoot software and networking issues.
• Ability to interpret instructions presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Hands-on attitude.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work second and third shifts and travel approximately 80% of the time.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in medical imaging field service, preferably MRI.

Responsibilities

• Install and implement new systems.
• Perform periodic maintenance and system repairs.
