This position is directly responsible for serving the needs of our healthcare clients, inclusive of the delivery, pickup and maintenance of cutting-edge medical device equipment. The Field Service Representative will interface with Solventum customers daily and is responsible for building, cultivating, and maintaining superior customer relationships. The daily responsibilities encompass the preparation of medical equipment for patient use to include disinfection, quality control testing, preparation for use and transportation of the equipment to and from customer locations utilizing a company provided vehicle. As a Field Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • Requires a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a customer facing or service-related field
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

  • Ability to work non-traditional work schedule, which may include extended hours including evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call duties
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position through fitness testing as required in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office & iOS applications
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, as well as, demonstrated time management & prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting customers to include patients and hospital staff on a regular basis providing superior customer service with customer centric solutions.
  • Utilizes computer or other company issued electronic equipment to timely execute transactions and to accurately capture transactional data for company record keeping.
  • Preparing medical device equipment (cleaning and disinfecting), disposables, and documentation processing for delivery.
  • Obtains and evaluates all information regarding service and product inquiries and providing prompt responses & appropriate follow up.
  • Loading and unloading medical equipment from company vehicles.
  • Organizes and executes assigned work tasks to effectively and efficiently meet customer communicated timeframes for service.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
  • Tracking inventory control on assets, parts, disposables, and supplies.
  • Locate missing and misplaced equipment as needed.
  • The employee will assist & prepare outgoing items as well as receive incoming items daily.
  • Gather customer feedback responding and/or escalating to management as appropriate.
  • Assists customers in the research and due diligence searches for missing & misplaced medical equipment within customer locations or the service environment.
  • Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties.
