About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Field Service Representative to join our team! In this role you will get to help shape and support a dynamic government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) solution that delivers powerful capabilities to end users across the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Area of Responsibility (AoR). This position is located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii NO REMOTE WORK

Requirements

  • Proficiency with relevant hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience documenting, analyzing, and reviewing software requirements for complex systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective training, including instruction on emerging technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical and requirements documentation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Top Secret security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Ability to work on weekends and holidays when required.
  • Interfacing with multiple stakeholders to assess and understand the requirements to ensure that user stories are consistent and applicable across all products
  • Liaise with globally dispersed team members to discuss new solutions and assess their applicability to PACAF.
  • Understand PACAF mission needs and identify how Parsons solutions support and enable those requirements.
  • Attend meetings with current and prospective users to gather feedback, present capabilities, and build strong relationships.

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Experience conducting or supporting military operations and/or exercises.
  • Bachelor's Degree & 5+ years of customer-facing experience in a technical, operational, or consulting role.
  • Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working on small, agile teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site daily support for a GOTS solution at PACAF and, when necessary, during weekends and holidays.
  • Train users on proper use of the solution and best practices.
  • Manage user and group accounts within the software.
  • Serve as a primary site advocate for Parsons solutions and capabilities.
  • Responsible for interfacing with multiple stakeholders to assess, understand, collect, and document requirements to ensure that user stories are consistent and applicable across all products.
  • Advise on, recommend updates, and produce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to maximize solution value and mission impact.
  • Compile, consolidate, and organize data and information into clear, accurate reports.
  • Test new software releases and assist with frequent solution deployments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reconcile conflicts; decompose high-level information into the appropriate level of detail for team members; and participate in peer reviews of developed solutions.
  • Overseeing functional and non-functional requirements for multiple products within the project team
  • Document, analyze and review software requirements for a large software development team responsible for development, test, installation, customer interface and O&M activities for several applications supporting the classification of data and document.
  • Travel as needed to provide remote training and support to customer sites across the AOR.
