Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • 5+ years experience as a Field Service Representative (FSR) or Field Engineer Representative (FER) at U.S. Government test sites
  • 4+ years experience in armored vehicle operations/maintenance (military MOS or equivalent)
  • Experience with prototype development and transition to production
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Army maintenance procedures and DoD ground vehicle systems
  • Hands-on expertise with mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repair tools
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with shop standards, maintenance processes, and field operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently in high-visibility, high-pressure environments
  • Valid driver’s license (Real ID compliant) with clean record
  • Ability to obtain a passport for international travel

Responsibilities

  • Lead field rework efforts and oversee FSR teams across various locations
  • Perform and support platform-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on wheeled and tracked vehicles
  • Execute vehicle maintenance, upgrades, and modifications in alignment with program schedules and requirements
  • Support test site operations, including management of spare parts, consumables, and system support packages
  • Develop and implement maintenance work packages for test assets
  • Provide status updates and progress reports to ARV and U.S. Government personnel
  • Collaborate with Rheinmetall FSR/FER teams to establish field maintenance procedures and best practices
  • Interpret and apply engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company and U.S. Government safety and environmental regulations
  • Support additional field service and maintenance activities as assigned
