About The Position

Solventum, a new healthcare company with a long legacy, is seeking a Field Service Representative I. This role is directly responsible for serving the needs of healthcare clients, including the delivery, pickup, and maintenance of medical device equipment. The representative will build and maintain superior customer relationships, manage inventory of products and supplies, and ensure the cleaning, processing, and quality control of medical device equipment. The position involves loading and unloading equipment, general housekeeping, and attending training which may require travel. A company vehicle is provided, and driving record will be reviewed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • One (1) year of customer-facing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

  • Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Ability to work a non-traditional work schedule, which may include extended hours, evenings, weekends, and participation in on-call duties
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position through fitness testing as required in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA)

Responsibilities

  • Serving the needs of healthcare clients, inclusive of the delivery, pickup, and maintenance of cutting-edge medical device equipment.
  • Interfacing with Solventum customers daily and responsible for building, cultivating, and maintaining superior customer relationships.
  • Performing and assisting in maintaining inventory of products, parts, disposables, and supplies.
  • Cleaning, processing, and quality control of medical device equipment.
  • General housekeeping of facility.
  • Loading and unloading of equipment in company vehicles.
  • Supporting customers, including patients and hospital staff, on a regular basis by providing superior customer service and customer-centric solutions.
  • Preparing medical device equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment, disposables, and documentation processing for delivery.
  • Tracking inventory control on assets, parts, disposables, and supplies, and locating missing or misplaced equipment as needed.
  • Attending training and other scheduled business functions, which may require commercial air travel.
  • Complying with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while performing assigned duties.
