Field Service Mechanic
About The Position
As a Field Service Mechanic at Terra Sonic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our advanced equipment. Your role will involve diagnosing, servicing, and repairing systems including blowers, water pumps, drivelines, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic components. You’ll provide on-site customer support, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure our equipment is operating at its best. This role requires travel to customer job sites for maintenance, repairs, and training. Applicants must be willing to travel as needed to support field operations and meet customer needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
- Skilled in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding tools
- Mechanical aptitude with field service experience and a customer-oriented approach
- Efficient problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Willingness to travel as needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical assembly of large equipment
- CDL B with tank endorsement
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing advanced equipment
