About The Position
MasterTech is seeking an experienced Field Service Mechanic in the Orangeburg SC area. This is a Remote/Resident Field Mechanic position where the mechanic will take home a service vehicle and be dispatched remotely. The role involves the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of diesel trucks and equipment.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (diesel trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, etc.)
- Experience working in the field
- Able to work independently
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Valid driver's license in good standing required
- Able to pass pre-employment background checks
- Has basic to full set of hand tools
Nice To Haves
- Education from an accredited Technical School
- CDL preferred
