About The Position
DIRECT HIRE opportunity for a Field Service Mechanic in Sulphur, LA! A leading equipment service company in Sulphur, LA is currently hiring an experienced Field Service Mechanic to join their team! In this role, the Field Service Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment while providing exceptional customer service at local customer job sites. This is a local field service position with no overnight travel required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic is required
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must provide your own general diesel mechanic hand tools
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
- Professional attitude with strong problem-solving abilities
Nice To Haves
- Experience servicing construction equipment or rental equipment preferred
- Experience repairing and maintaining air compressors and welding machines
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service at local customer job sites
- Perform preventative maintenance on diesel-powered equipment
- Manage local field service calls
