About The Position
MasterTech is seeking an experienced Field Service Mechanic in the Orangeburg SC area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a diverse line of diesel trucks and equipment. This is a Remote/Resident Field Mechanic position, where service vehicles will be taken home and Mechanics will be dispatched remotely.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (diesel trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, etc.).
- Experience working in the field.
- Able to work independently.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Valid driver's license in good standing required.
- Able to pass pre-employment background checks.
- Has basic to full set of hand tools.
Nice To Haves
- Education from an accredited Technical School is preferred, not required.
- CDL preferred.
