Requirements

  • 5+ years of field service experience with powder handling, filling, or process equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
  • Solid knowledge of pneumatics and electrical systems.
  • Solid knowledge of P&IDs, instrumentation, and production diagrams.
  • Solid knowledge of powder transport, packaging, and palletizing systems.
  • Familiarity with GMP, FDA, 3A, and related regulatory standards.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong work ethic.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% (primarily U.S. & Canada, with some international travel).
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and decommission of powder filling and process equipment.
  • Perform both planned and emergency maintenance on installed systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues—both onsite and remotely.
  • Ensure minimal downtime and maximum equipment performance.
  • Serve as the face of the company in the field.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships through clear communication and professionalism.
  • Identify service opportunities, recommend upgrades, and suggest spare parts.
  • Support optimization of customer systems and processes.
  • Prepare detailed service reports, inspection summaries, and start-up documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across service, sales, and project management.
  • Provide operator training on equipment use and preventive maintenance.
  • Conduct site visits and performance audits.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, OSHA standards, and customer HSE requirements.
