About The Position
Field Service Engineer King of Prussia, PA / Delaware Valley / Tri-State Area | Full-Time About the Role Print-O-Stat is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join our technical services team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting customers through the installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of printing and imaging equipment. You will serve as a trusted technical expert in the field, working directly with clients to resolve service needs, provide training, and ensure equipment is operating at the highest level of performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Applied Technology, Electronics, or 2+ years of field service experience in copier and printer repair or related industry
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and software systems
- Proficiency with mobile tools and service applications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Responsibilities
- Manage and complete on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of equipment
- Diagnose errors and technical issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Interpret customer needs and provide clear recommendations and support
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide service during field visits
- Provide onsite training for standalone and network printing devices
- Perform basic network setup including IP configuration and printer driver installation
- Maintain accurate service records in the enterprise database and manage workflow scheduling
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to share updates and resolve issues
- Manage and track assigned parts inventory with accuracy
- Identify sales opportunities and equipment upgrades in partnership with the sales team
- Operate company vehicle safely and follow all policies and procedures
- Complete ongoing technical training as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
