This job involves traveling and staying in hotels 4 nights a week after completing a 2-4 week training program at our facility in Holland, Michigan. The Field Service Engineer will perform field installations and start-ups, preventative maintenance, and inspect/conduct performance tests to verify product compliance with specifications. Responsibilities include documenting installed product performance, conducting training for users on proper operation and maintenance, and troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating refrigeration, electronics, and electro-mechanical components. The role also requires establishing and maintaining positive customer relationships, coordinating service calls, explaining product benefits, establishing preventive maintenance contracts, and performing general service work. Maintaining knowledge of warranty, maintenance, and service policies, as well as vehicle logs and expense reports, is also part of the role. The physical manufacturing location is in Holland, Michigan. Travel is weekly to customer facilities, with 100% of travel time paid at the hourly wage, a $350 weekly per diem for personal expenses (no receipts needed), and all travel costs paid by the company. A work vehicle is provided.
