About The Position

Neuver Maritime is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their Steering Gear and Rudder team. This role involves supporting customers globally through hands-on field work, including service assignments, overhauls, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades. The engineer will ensure reliable and efficient equipment performance, leveraging strong technical understanding and customer focus to deliver high-quality solutions in dynamic and challenging environments. The position is part of a professional, collaborative team with a strong safety and quality culture.

Requirements

Relevant technical education and/or experience within mechanics, hydraulics, or electro/automation disciplines.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Willingness and ability to travel worldwide on a regular basis.
Self-driven, structured, and solution oriented.
Able to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for results.
Analytical, with a methodical and systematic approach.
Committed to following procedures and executing plans with determination.
A clear and precise communicator who collaborates effectively and shares knowledge with others.
Valid US passport and TWIC card.

Nice To Haves

Practical experience from service is an advantage.
Solid foundation and prior experience from similar technical or field service roles.

Responsibilities

Perform service assignments, overhauls, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and upgrades worldwide of Steering Gears and Rudders.
Collaborate with customers and supporting engineers.
