About The Position

The Field Service Engineer will be the face of IPT Global on the rig floor, responsible for deploying and supporting the company's technology at the wellsite. This role involves working alongside drilling and subsea crews to ensure customer confidence in their results. It is ideal for an engineer who desires hands-on field experience, enjoys real-time problem-solving, and takes pride in being a trusted resource for the rig crew.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in subsea, petroleum, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline. Equivalent field experience will be considered.
  • At least 2 years in offshore or oil & gas operations, ideally around well control, BOP systems, completions, or well testing.
  • Familiarity with API Standard 53 and pressure testing practices.
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, service-first approach under pressure.
  • Ability to obtain or hold BOSIET/HUET, TWIC, and a valid passport.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with international rig operations.
  • Comfort with data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to offshore and land rigs to install, operate, and troubleshoot IPT systems during BOP, casing, and well barrier testing.
  • Interpret test data on-site and clearly explain results to company men, toolpushers, and subsea engineers.
  • Train rig personnel on our tools and workflows.
  • Build lasting customer relationships and capture field feedback for our product and engineering teams.
  • Maintain high safety standards and accurate job documentation.
