Field Service Engineer – Offshore

About The Position
You'll be the face of IPT Global on the rig floor. You'll deploy and support our technology at the wellsite, work alongside drilling and subsea crews, and make sure every customer leaves with confidence in their results. This role suits an engineer who wants real field time, enjoys solving problems in real time, and takes pride in being the person the rig crew trusts.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in subsea, petroleum, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline. Equivalent field experience will be considered.
- At least [2] years in offshore or oil & gas operations, ideally around well control, BOP systems, completions, or well testing.
- Familiarity with API Standard 53 and pressure testing practices.
- Strong communication skills and a calm, service-first approach under pressure.
- Ability to obtain or hold BOSIET/HUET, TWIC, and a valid passport.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with international rig operations.
- Comfort with data analysis tools.
Responsibilities
- Travel to offshore and land rigs to install, operate, and troubleshoot IPT systems during BOP, casing, and well barrier testing.
- Interpret test data on-site and clearly explain results to company men, toolpushers, and subsea engineers.
- Train rig personnel on our tools and workflows.
- Build lasting customer relationships and capture field feedback for our product and engineering teams.
- Maintain high safety standards and accurate job documentation.
