About The Position

Assisting in the management of fabrication and integration of C4ISR systems into multiple variants of ship vessels (Navy & MSC). Managing liaison functions of all integration efforts between various functional areas such as: logistics, engineering, testing, and project managers. Providing direct customer support on-site with Government personnel. Instructing technical staff members in the fabrication, integration, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical circuits. Providing feedback to production management and QA with identified issues/defects in design or during the fabrication/integration phase with regards to cables or equipment racks. Performing on-site installation of equipment and products in the continental United States within various environments to include Naval Bases and privately owned shipyards. Providing status reports and schedule updates as required.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of related C4ISR shipboard system and new construction experience
  • Experience installing/running cables and dressing/banding shipboard cableways IAW NAVSEA standards and practices
  • Experience in hardwiring lighting, terminal/sym boxes, and building Mil Std connectors
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand shipboard provided installation documentation
  • OSHA 10 Maritime - Active Certification (must be able to provided photo copy)
  • Experience in using Microsoft 365 apps with proficiency in utilizing Excel and Word daily
  • U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with RF, Heliax, Cat 5/6, & Multi-pin MIL-STD connectors. with regards to Multi-pin connectors we are seeking technicians with experience in building MIL-STD series M28840, D38999, M24308, MS3456, or MS3476 connectors
  • Experience installing cables, electronic equipment, and/or C4I systems onboard Navy and MSC vessels within a shipyard or US Naval base environment, class ships to include but not limited to: CVN, LPD, LHA, DDG, or T-AO
  • Active Fiber Optic Certifications for: Handling, Terminating, Testing, or QA/Supervision
