Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED with associated experience.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Schematic interpretation, robotics, electrical and blueprints reading.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to quality and safety policies and practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HMI, PLC, robots and AutoCAD preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; customer service mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining robotic automation systems, control devices, mechanical units, transfer equipment, and related peripherals for customers both remotely and on-site.
  • Responding to service needs independently.
  • Documenting customer issues and following up with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Delivering a strong customer service experience.
  • Supporting hardware installations, maintenance, testing, and customer training at client facilities.
  • Helping develop support guides for recurring issues.
  • Discussing, diagnosing & repairing operational and process problems as reported by the customer.
  • Troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of robots, control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment.
  • Responding to service calls/activities.
  • Thorough documentation of each customer and incident using case reporting system.
  • Following up with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicating with all stakeholders (Employees, managers, and customers) to ensure that expectations are met.
  • Actively propagating JR culture within engineering and promoting our capabilities.
  • Learning new equipment regularly and supporting customers with a variety of skill levels remotely.
  • Assisting with documentation and “support guides” of recurrent issues.
  • Conducting on-site hardware installations, maintenance, and testing at client facilities.
  • Providing in-person technical support and training to clients and on-site staff.
  • Traveling to customer locations domestically and internationally up to 80%.
