Conduct on-site installation and repair of semiconductor test equipment on location at customer locations worldwide. Complete retrofits at customer sites. Leverage skill and knowledge of company equipment (electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems, software systems, systems functionality, and diagnostics) to perform testing and troubleshooting of complex equipment to ensure proper working order: ensure procedures are followed and findings are documented. Make repairs, solves problems and/or communicates repair suggestions to customers. Isolate equipment start-up malfunctions and take corrective action. Respond to customer requests for technical service. Make recommendations to improve product reliability and serviceability. Make recommendations to the spares list. Provide technical assistance to the internal Sales Department. Develop and certify standard testing procedures. Monitor product reliability and collect data for analysis. Analyze data, submit findings and make recommendations to improve product reliability. Coordinate and participate in conference calls to facilitate escalated issues. Provide technical training and support to customers and deliver operator training. Serve as an on-site expert on questions or issues involving equipment in operation at customer facilities. Train customer personnel and OEM dealers in equipment operation and maintenance requirements. Make technical presentations as required on various field service processes and equipment operations. The position is based in Austin TX and supports the primary customer in Austin, and may travel as needed to other customers within the US & International. Job may require domestic and international travel up to 50% of the time, in future.
