This entry-level Field Service Engineer I role is an exceptional launchpad for recent college graduates with engineering/science degrees who thrive in high-accountability, high-consequence technical environments. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, technical troubleshooting skills, and collaborative teamwork in daily operations with other Field Service Engineers. A successful Field Service Engineer I displays strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, alongside a deep understanding of the impact of quickly diagnosing and addressing problems in the customer environment. They have a strong desire to master both the technical attributes of IMS Nanofabrication's Multi-Beam Mask Writers and the people skills required to excel in front of critical customers. This role requires an in-person presence in our Santa Clara, CA office with a daily presence at our customer site(s), strongly aligning with our US headquarters and other US entity locations in Hillsboro, OR and Boise, ID and our global R&D and Operations team in Austria. This non-exempt role reports directly to the team lead engineer in charge at IMS America.
