About The Position

This is a travel-heavy, hands-on field service role. You will travel to hospitals, labs, and healthcare facilities to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair medical electro-mechanical equipment. This is physical, independent field work — not office-based support and not an IT help desk role. You will be expected to arrive onsite, identify equipment issues, perform hands-on repairs, document your work clearly, and move to the next service call with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Hands-on electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience
  • FRU-level diagnostics and component replacement experience
  • Professional use of diagnostic tools such as a digital multimeter
  • Ability to work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight stays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical field work
  • Must be currently based in Florida, preferably in or near the Miami area

Nice To Haves

  • Medical device field service
  • Industrial equipment or automation repair
  • Military technical training in electronics or mechanical systems
  • Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites across Florida and surrounding areas as needed
  • Install, maintain, and repair medical electro-mechanical equipment
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures at the FRU/component level
  • Replace parts including motors, sensors, connectors, wiring assemblies, and related components
  • Use diagnostic tools such as digital multimeters and other field test equipment
  • Document service activity, findings, and repairs accurately
  • Work independently in hospital and regulated customer environments
  • Manage frequent travel, overnight stays, and changing field schedules
