About The Position

This role is part of the Westinghouse AOMS Field Engineering Leadership Development Program (FELP), offering rapid exposure to various product lines and service offerings within the AOMS portfolio with growing responsibility. Participants will rotate through several AOMS business segments to support business growth while developing leadership skills and identifying future career interests. There are 6 positions available for the next cohort in July 2026, all based out of the Waltz Mill facility in Madison, PA. This specific position is within the I&C space and reports to the Manager of I&C Field Services.

Requirements

  • Completion of a 4-year Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field (all disciplines accepted).
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% and relocate based on job rotations.
  • Must meet all requirements to gain unescorted access at domestic and international commercial Nuclear Plants.
  • Must have or obtain a driver's license with REAL ID or a passport.
  • Eager to learn, develop, and apply leadership skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and lead project work through a series of business rotations to deliver value across multiple departments and/or global locations via planning, communication, and teamwork, gaining hands-on experience and a broad understanding of functional areas.
  • Develop an understanding of the strategic direction, business environment, and alignment of business strategies for each rotation/department.
  • Provide basic engineering field service support (installation, testing, start-up, maintenance) for nuclear system equipment, components, and service tooling, both in the field and service center.
  • Perform field engineering tasks within scope, budget, and schedule requirements, developing competencies in the functional area of focus for the rotation.
  • Gain exposure to skillsets required for scopes of work in nuclear projects and deployment initiatives, including interfacing with customers, outage managers, business leaders, and project managers.
  • Identify areas for improvement and use problem-solving and data analysis skills to propose solutions for enhancing departmental efficiency.
  • Develop strong leadership skills through traditional training, on-the-job experience, and by communicating work status to technical leads and management.
  • Be willing to travel or relocate for job rotations (customer sites, meetings, trainings) and future job opportunities.
  • Support two to three planned outages at nuclear stations during the rotation period (typically spring and fall), involving approximately 25 days of travel to domestic and international customer sites.
  • Understand and support Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) field service offerings and activities, including preparation and field execution of Westinghouse I&C systems for nuclear power plant operations.
  • Develop an understanding of I&C Digital Upgrades for Long-term Operations (LTO) in the Nuclear Power Plant market.
  • Support the strategic direction of the I&C staff augmentation product line to meet market demand for qualified I&C technicians during customer outages.
