About The Position

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer — Control Systems to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, startup, and optimization activities across complex field service environments. This role is ideal for a highly skilled controls professional with proven experience working with OEM control platforms, turbine control systems, PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, loop checks, functional testing, I/O verification, and control system diagnostics. You will play a key role in supporting critical field service activities for turbines, compressors, and rotating equipment, helping ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation across industrial, onshore, and offshore project environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of field service experience in control systems, preferably supporting turbines, compressors, and rotating equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following systems: GE Mark V, Mark VI, Mark VIe, ToolboxST, BH / Nuovo Pignone control systems, or similar OEM platforms.
  • Experience supporting gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, auxiliary systems, and integrated control packages.
  • Ability to support installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, shutdown, operational testing, and outage execution.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, turbine control panels, instrumentation, communication protocols, and control loops.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, control logic diagrams, wiring schematics, technical drawings, and OEM procedures.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, work extended hours, night shifts, rotational assignments, and support high-pressure outage schedules.

Nice To Haves

  • OEM training with GE, BH, or Nuovo Pignone.
  • Experience with Bently Nevada monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, or similar systems.
  • H2S Alive, Confined Space, Fall Protection, or other safety certifications.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
