About The Position

Join our team in Waukesha, WI, as a Field Service Engineer - ADV, where you will play a vital role in commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing advanced building automation systems for diverse clients. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position ideal for self-motivated professionals seeking to work with the latest Direct Digital Control (DDC) technology and drive impactful solutions in the field.

Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of hands-on field experience with BAS, Data Center, or HVAC systems
• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Basic computer proficiency
• Physically able to use ladders and work onsite during standard and occasionally extended hours (M-F, some Saturdays, 6am–4:30pm)

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with multimeter usage
• Working knowledge of IP networking
• Experience with BACnet or Modbus protocols

Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, and troubleshoot advanced customer systems utilizing Direct Digital Control technology
• Serve as the primary technical contact and field leader for site-based issues
• Deliver turnkey project management on small to medium projects from start to finish
• Ensure optimal operation of systems, including controls, sensors, and software
• Load and configure software, trends, alarms, and generate reports for clients
• Maintain clear communication and detailed documentation of project status for customers
• Provide site-specific training to owners and operators on system functionality and maintenance
• Manage time effectively to meet customer satisfaction standards
• Uphold positive relationships with customers and field peers
• Support the development and training of less experienced engineers
