About The Position

GrizzlyTrek is seeking one Field Service Billing Analyst to join our value-added client's team in Oakville, Ontario. This is a full-time contract opportunity supporting the Field Service Operations group, including FS Management, Field Project Managers, FS Coordinators, and field personnel. In this role, you will participate in weekly meetings with the Operations Team to review upcoming and current jobs, connect with Project Managers to capture status updates, and prepare proformas to capture the monthly forecast. There is potential for this assignment to be extended beyond 13 weeks and potential for conversion to a full-time permanent position. You will support the Field Service Operations team across the full billing and forecasting cycle. Your day will include weekly Operations Team meetings to review upcoming and active jobs, working sessions with Project Managers to gather updates from the field, and preparing proformas that capture the monthly forecast for the business.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of billing and basic accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of the SAP platform.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience, or master entry-level candidates with applicable education.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams, project managers, and field personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly invoicing on larger projects and prompt invoicing on smaller projects once completed.
  • Support the collections process to improve Accounts Receivable outstanding position and Free Cash Flow.
  • Conduct monthly Work in Progress reviews with emphasis on timely dehookings of projects to keep Field Service Orders on Hand as accurate as possible.
  • Ensure projects are adequately funded by requesting customer Purchase Order increases in a timely manner.
  • Document reasons for margin improvements or decreases clearly and consistently.
  • Maintain forecast accuracy across all KPIs (Revenue, Gross Margin, Gross Profit) with specific focus on Other Cost of Goods Sold, requiring timely and accurate invoicing and margin analysis.
  • Maintain proper documentation for EU Taxonomy and THOP requirements.
