The Aftermarket Apprentice Program (AAP) is designed to offer selected individuals a unique opportunity to combine practical work experience with on-the-job training and formal classroom instruction. This program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to effectively support customers post-product delivery, ultimately developing a skilled employee for G&W. The program is overseen by an AAP Oversight Committee, comprising key leadership from Aftermarket, Human Resources, Global QA and Operations, Training, and AMS Services. This committee is responsible for program administration, applicant selection, setting performance standards, determining training requirements, selecting and training OJT trainers, evaluating on-the-job experience, monitoring apprentice progression, maintaining records, certifying competence, and adjusting wages based on demonstrated skills. Upon successful completion, the apprentice is awarded a Certificate of Completion. The committee meets monthly to ensure program objectives are met and quarterly to assess progress and plan future activities, including discussing apprentice competency.
